NatureLens is a public-interest platform that gathers nature records made by citizens and turns them into environmental and health information. The Company supports the use of those records for research, education and conservation, while respecting the rights of the people who made them.
Article 1 (Copyright in Posted Content)
- Copyright in the photographs and writing a member posts belongs to that member.
- The Company holds a non-exclusive licence to use them for operating, researching, teaching about and promoting the Service, and within that scope may make formal changes such as resizing.
- Posting someone else's work without permission is prohibited. Content reported as infringing is removed or has access restricted under Article 44-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Article 2 (Licence for Use)
Content posted on NatureLens may be used under CC BY-NC-ND (Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives). You may use it freely if you credit the source, but commercial use and modification are not permitted.
- Any use beyond that licence requires the prior permission of the author.
- The NatureLens logo may not be removed, cropped or altered.
- This licence applies to third parties. The Company's own use — under the licence in Article 1(2), and within the scope a member separately agreed to at sign-up (biodiversity research and improving species identification models) — is separate from this licence; its terms are set out in Article 10 of the Privacy Policy and Article 13 of the Terms of Service.
Article 3 (How to Credit)
